Air Conditioner Recycling and Disposal
Does your business have an old air conditioner to recycle? As AC units contain hazardous elements you must dispose of them correctly.
Pure Planet Recycling offers an air conditioner collection and recycling service to businesses. We recycle all types of air conditioners. This includes portable, single and multi split, VRF and VRV systems and central systems.
We are a licensed waste carrier and an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) for electrical waste. Both of which are licenses, issued by The Environment Agency.
Our service includes the loading, disposal and recycling of your air conditioning equipment. All we ask is that the units are ready to load into our vehicle. We recycle to remove the CFC, HCFCs or HFCs they contain in an environmentally friendly way.
All staff are professional, trained and can handle all types of air conditioners. At the time of collection we issue a hazardous waste consignment note for your records.
How Does Our Air Conditioner Disposal Service Work?
Arranging a collection of your old air conditioning equipment is as simple as…
Step 1
You contact us, with photos and details of the air conditioners you have. Please also provide the collection address and access restrictions.
STEP 2
A quotation is then provided for the collection and recycling.
STEP 3
Once accepted, a collection is arranged using our own secure transportation and staff.
STEP 4
We load the equipment into our vehicles and provide a hazardous waste consignment note.
STEP 5
The hazardous gases, liquids and foam within the units are removed for treatment. The rest of the unit is fed into an automated plant to recover the materials it is made from.
STEP 6
When the recycling is complete, we invoice and provide a recycling certificate for the load.
