Today marks the 15 year anniversary of Pure Planet Recycling Limited.
Our mission has been to always provide a 5 Star electrical waste recycling service to our customers. We’d like to think we have always delivered on this promise and are proud to have navigated the highs and lows of the last 15 years.
The fact we get to celebrate this milestone is down to the hard work of all staff over the years, our valued customers who en-trust us with their recycling and the suppliers which continue to support the business.
The following press article, back in 2007, showed two fresh-faced, young(er) men with a dream of building a recycling business that makes a difference in the marketplace. When we look back at how far we have come, and all that we have achieved, many words spring to mind – challenging, fulfilling, tiring, humbling and most importantly, grateful!
Over the years we’ve had a fair few memorable moments including:
- Channel 4’s Obsessive Compulsive cleaners on site to film on our fridge graveyard
- Loaning old laptops to the Gadget Show for Laptop Dominoes
- Collecting computers from Royal Palaces
- and my personal favourite, recycling the light tubes from the iconic billboards at Piccadilly Circus!
However, and just as important, are our day-to-day customers who smile and thank us for a great job when we securely take away their equipment for recycling.
Blood, sweat and sugary tea’s have gone into shaping Pure Planet Recycling into the company that it is today. Again, both myself (Phil) and Paul give a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you that have believed in us and our business. We hope to report many more milestones over the coming years, no more embarrassing photos though please 😊
